Hi everyone! I don’t ever usually post anything like this but I wanted to share my story. Growing up, I had a babysitter who always wanted to do good for the community. She got a job with the American Cancer Society (ACS) and I became really interested in what she did. I wanted to do good in the community like her. Every year, ACS put on a fundraiser raising awareness for cancer patients called Relay For Life. I decided to make a team and raise money. Doing fundraisers, talking at Rotary Club, and doing presentations at college classes was SO fun. I got to talk about the purpose of Relay for Life and what I’m doing to make a difference. For last year’s Relay for Life, I raised $5,000. Cancer has affected so many of my loved ones that I wanted to try to make a difference. This year studies limited me to fundraising but I’m hoping to get back into it for next year’s Relay. Taylor and my childhood babysitter both have always inspired me to do good for those around me. Hearing the news about Taylor’s mother really broke my heart because I know when you have a loved one in that position, it isn’t easy. I just wanted to remind everyone that you can do good whether it’s as little as thanking someone or just being kind.

I never asked you for your help, but now I need your financial support. The quarantine is extended until April 30 in my country. I and my mom in an awful situation. We live in a tiny room. Mom had a job with a daily payment, but now they don’t pay anything because of quarantine. We can’t pay the bills or even buy food. Only 10 dollars left and I can’t imagine how we will survive. asking for help is so hard for me to do especially when it comes to money but im so stuck and anxious about how im going to make it through this month .... because of the corona virus i lost my job :( this job was my only source of income and it helped me feed my dad, who lives off of disability checks. he spends all of his money on the house (which im so lucky to have a roof over my head) but we have so many bills coming up.
