Q/A
Can I take inspiration from your art?
You don’t need to ask for permission, reject crawling along the ground like a worm, engage with art and let it inspire you.
What is Pendog creative library?
A horror ARG about archiving the creative endeavors of an alternate Americas past and present. Together these mascots, paintings, artists, puppeteers, paint the canvas of history with the brush of horror and human connection.
Can I send you asks?
Yes, give me your words so I can eat them and spit them back out on this site.
Why are so many characters in pendog women?
I like women.
Can you tell me about that blue faced red eyed ghoul in the art that introduced me to you?
She is The Slasher, a Slasher, and she loves women too.
Can we be friends?
Let that develop in a natural way.
Can I message you if we’re mutuals
Yes boss.
Have you considered including more men in your art?
Sorry? I can’t hear you.
Do you take requests?
No.
Have you considered (thing)?
I have considered every word, situation, and thing no scenario in this winding string has escaped my notice.
What inspired your art?
Al Columbia, Fleischer toons, horror stories are my muse.
Your post was criticizing idolization/sweatshop labor/plastic waste. Does this mean you hate artists?
And fandom and Hollywood and small businesses too.
Have you considered that companies are the majority of the cause for plastic waste and sweatshop labor?
Yes! However you should not do business with sweatshop labor even if you’re less than 1% of the problem. Because sweatshop labor is inhumane and a violation of human dignity + increases suffering in the world. You should still minimize your footprint.

hate to push this again after getting so many lovely new followers, but you know how it is. my husband and I are separated as of earlier this month, and just rebuilding a room is super expensive! I owe him a lot of money for helping me buy a new bed, and then the optometrist did Everything to me sapping up the last of my spendable money. consider leaving a tip- shit is hard and i wanna relax as soon as I can!

“When I first saw the original painting, I began to do some research on that little boy. I could find everything I wanted about every other detail in the painting, but there was nothing about him. No history. And so I wanted to find a way to imagine a life for this young man that the historical painting had never made space for in the composition: his desires, dreams, family, thoughts, hopes. Those things were never subjects that the original artist wanted the viewer to contemplate. In order to reframe the discussion, I decided to physically take action to quiet [and crumple] the side of the painting that we’ve been talking about for a very long time and turn up the volume on this kid’s story. And that’s the reason why I started that painting.”

Kadji Amin calling straight trans women more real was really not on my 2026 bingo card. After 30 years, trans studies is finally getting straight again?!
Attraction to men was a precipitating factor for downward mobility among trans women, precisely because it disposed those with transfeminine desires to actually live a transfeminine life.
It's actually even worse than Talia is making it out to be, my jaw genuinely dropped multiple times. Amin frames trans lesbians as square-jawed, non-passing bourgeois white women who "talked and acted masculine" and didn't care about their appearance, and straight trans women as passing, feminine, working-class women of color who were oppressed by them.
He frames trans women attracted to women as being a white, upper-class, homophobic oppressor class who considered themselves at least partially 'heterosexual men', and claims they had a deep disdain for and privilege over trans women attracted to men (who were all non-white street queens), and then only in the 1980s began to re-evaluate their self-identity to become 'lesbians'
In maybe the most specifically egregious moment, in response to a question which explicitly mentioned Beth Elliot, he said "there wasn't an articulation of trans lesbian identity until the 1980s, when this upper-class group [of rich white non-passing women-attracted trans women] began to re-examine the understanding of transvestites as 'heterosexual' [i.e. men attracted to women], and some of them began to articulate this as 'lesbianism'."
This reminded me of Serano’s essay about how people will deny trans women the closet. The closet is such a terrible place, unless you are a trans woman, and then it’s a privilege. “Oh my god you are so lucky you were denied the ability to be yourself for multiple decades. I’m sure there are no negative side effects of that for you.”
Also the implication that upper/middle class white trans women didn’t transition “to maintain their class” and not because of the fear of all the other negative consequences that come with transitioning (effect on wife/marriage, children, parents, physical safety, etc).
I also really hated the fact that he basically said “also they are all uggoes, trust me I quoted a trans woman.”
Like idk, I’m not an expert on this stuff and even I can tell this is a bad take.
