CELINE: LONDON FLAGSHIP OPENING

Exciting news for all London based shopaholics who are not averse to paying for a single item with say six credits cards, the Celine flagship on Mount Street is now open. And isn’t it pretty? Especially the floor. It was designed by Phoebe and her team and “upholds the respect for fine craftsmanship, rare raw materials, research and innovation the house is known for”. They’ve also collaborated with Danish artist FOS, creating a “series of unique, specially commissioned objects to compliment the house’s refined and rigorous aesthetic. These include cast iron door handles, a central table, a day bed, floor lamps and a chandelier, sunglasses and jewellery vitrines and a ‘cabas’ stand for the entrance space”. In the words of Liz Lemon, though Liz was referring to Cheesy Blasters, not Celine, I want to go to there.
