They were sheltered and raised by Felix, a man they considered to be like a father to them, until the day they attempted to sell a forged Vault Key to two Hyperion employees for ten million dollars. The deal was ruined, the Hyperions became enemies of their own company, and Felix betrayed Fiona by attempting to take the money as his own. As fate would have it, Fiona, Sasha and their unlikely allies then discovered the Gortys Project, an Atlas invention to bring them to an unknown Vault. With help from a former Vault Hunter, Athena, and hindrance from an enemy they believed to be long dead, Fiona is willing to leave behind her old life and become a Vault Hunter.
