Old Waco architecture on Elm Ave, the historic main street of the local African American community during times of segregation, subsequently neglected. This building can't be used for Art on Elm, a pop up art festival & exhibition April 9 - because it is tagged by the city as unsafe. What was going to be a quick, one-night stop to see cousin family in Raleigh (taking some time before meeting other side of the family in Tennessee for a few days, before finally ending up in Texas) is turning into a wonderful few nights at Hyco Lake, NC. Catfish snagged by Austin, the blondie in the middle. At age 7 he's already a very accomplished fisherman. He got another one later that was nearly as big, but it slipped the stringer and got away.
