I think everyone has a fair chance of surviving tonight, but currently my money is on Aladdin and Noah. They’re taking a huge risk leaping out of a castle window, but the payoff would be well-worth it. Besides, I like a risky gamble.

It does seem that he may be in over his head. On the other hand, he’s proven to be full of surprises tonight, what with befriending a princess and a merman, as well as dancing with a certain rogue witch. I’m looking forward to seeing what he does next.

Good question, anon. Perhaps the witch has a soft spot after all? Or maybe she has some sort of ulterior motive in mind? Seeing what she’s done tonight, I would bet on the latter.

You and me both, anon. After all of this, I doubt that they’ll feel quite fond of them.

And why wouldn’t she, anon? Everything did go according to her plan after all. I doubt anyone will forget who she is after this stunt.

Let’s be honest with ourselves here–this is Aladdin we’re talking about. It wouldn’t be the first time his plan for saving himself involved jumping out of a window.

Regarding. . .The Festival of Joy

Well, well, well...the blessed festival has come to an end, and magic, mayhem, and delight surrounded the people of Verden. Corona welcomed travelers and foreign diplomats with eyes wide open, and their hospitality resulted in what will surely be the most talked about festival for years to come. And of course, I have a few says on the matter. With that being said, let’s quickly run through a few of the major points of this event, shall we?

Princess Ariel  of Atlantica was permitted to step on land and transform into her human legs for the very first time for the sake of the festival; how exciting for her.

Prince Noah of Balia seemed rather unsettled and disgruntled at the prospect of attending a festival in the first place, but by the time the Festival of Joy had ended, he seemed to loosen up a bit and come into his own...with Princess Lily Winterson, nonetheless. Finally.

The humans seemed to leave a very sour taste in young Maddox’s mouth; particularly his highness, Eric Andersen. Grab the popcorn, I’m ready for some major drama between these two.

Li Shang spent more time worried about the event going south than actually enjoying himself. Where’s that pretty little girl he ran into not so very long ago? She could have loosened him up.

Prince Eric of Aldora has finally stumbled across Princess Ariel of Atlantica--and the two seemed disgustingly smitten with one another immediately. I may vomit.

Elijah Grace was quick to put a very rude gentleman in his place...something that Meg Costas, smirking bystander, appreciated a great deal. Is there a friendship blossoming between these two, perhaps?

Cue Gaston wooing Belle to bits and LeFou pining after the man he can never have. Next.

What’s this? John Smith and Gaston Bouchard sharing a pint with each other? That would certainly be an interesting friendship.

Princess Aurora of Mirindra seemed ridiculously pleased with everything the festival had to offer--wonder if her “honeymoon phase” of interacting properly with the rest of society will ever end? I hope so--endless happiness is exhausting.

That goes for Princess Rapunzel of Corona as well, I believe; given how naive and optimistic she is, it’s only a matter of time before Maleficent swoops in and steals her away. Perhaps Flynn Rider should’ve paid closer attention at the festival.

James Everett and Adam Dubois were sulky and withdrawn as usual. Yawn.

Princess Jasmine of Agrabah seemed rather drawn to everything the festival had to offer. I can’t help but wonder what her father’s noble chancellor, dear Jafar, would think of her running off.

Once a street rat, always a street rat: Aladdin was spotted mid-smuggling of some of Corona’s precious lanterns for the festival. Is there anything that boy can afford to pay for?

Not to mention him and Jasmine--was that an interaction between the scoundrel and the future Sultana I spied?

Poor Jane Porter lost her father; people attempted to help, but it seemed Archimedes merely got lost in the crowd. I wonder if she ever managed to locate him again?

I’m in the mood to see anyone, my darlings, but I must admit…all of LeFou’s pouting is putting me in a bit of a bad mood. It would be nice to see the poor child get something he wants for once.

I understand what you mean, anon. Though I do wish little LeFou would bite the bullet and just tell Gaston. It’s so tedious, watching him fawn over someone who is completely blind to his lust.

Let’s hope they interact at the festival, then; maybe your little shipper heart will explode in the process.

Friendship, perhaps? It’s hard to tell at this point; princes and noblemen have the tendency to say one thing and mean another. Men.

They are sickeningly adorable, aren’t they? I wonder how long this honeymoon phase will last for.
