Tomorrow is the final Sunday I wake up and get to spend with my parents here in California. Those beautiful mornings in which we’d have coffee together at home or go out to eat as a family. The very last time is tomorrow.

I purchased a home in Carson City, Nevada and we’re set to depart next Saturday, a week from today.

I’ve never lived outside of home or away from my parents.

In the midst of the home buying process, packing and the excitement involved, I hadn’t let my emotions consume me until today.

The realization that things are going to be different moving forward forever has finally settled deep within me.

God willing that I’m still able to see them for many many many years to come, in spite of the distance.
