Breakdown/So Low - Carol
she fr released two singles and dipped⦠I donāt really care that much for Breakdown, but So Low is awesome. very spacey and lo-fi. sounds very wintery and dark.

Ce n'est q'un dƩbut - Alexander Robotnick
I discovered this one when I was curious about italo disco. to be honest I find italo disco to be a bit boring, but when I heard ProblĆØmes dāamour I was hooked! he actually has a release with like ten different versions of the song, which honestly could have been cut down to like four. I do think the best version of the song is ProblĆØmes dāamour (USA Original Version). idk why a USA version exists but okay???
itās very short at 28 mins with just six songs. Dance Boy Dance is a slower track with a lot of whispering, that amps up towards the end with a burst of frantic screaming! I also love the vocals on Hola Macci Kola. the title track is pretty good but African Kola is usually a skip for me :/
I saw a bunch of comments on ProblĆØmes dāamour on YouTube describing it as a classic, but Iām not sure to what genre? there were a few comments about house music, so maybe that!
my all time favorite industrial album⦠Tom Ellard put his pussy into this one for sure. it opens really crunchy and gritty and then gets super synthpoppy and catchy with 4wd! Iāve heard someone describe Now An Explosive New Movie as āevil New Orderā. and Goodbye Tonsils is like a sound I canāt even describeā¦
the first time I listened to this I went back and listened to it three more times. then three more times the next day. itās super addictive, itās got just what I like! crunchy industrial sounds and catchy minimal synth. my first true love⦠and it inspired the name of this blog :>
