the songs are like another form a magical expression for the monsters, while theyve tuned it out at this point, you can hear a faint sound of the waterfalls song playing when undynes calm, same with papyrus, sans, all the of the monsters really (of course, with their respective areas theme, its like a way they connect to their homes place!), also an good way to incorporate toby fox’s brilliant score into the game, since he made it to genuinely fit all the monsters. (see: he changed undynes theme after she was fleshed out as he believed the first song he had made didnt fit her the best it could, although it was a banger.)
