when fools can be kings?

here's my live reaction to all of it.. it's 1am and i'm dead so ik i need to go back again in the morning and properly analyze these songs. i tend to be very judgmental when i hear new music but it's muse so yk it'll be good at the end of the day. don't hate on me for th ratings im sure they'll go up in time

overall i loved it. how could i not. i think that their lyric writing game has definitely gone down over the years but thats just because i prefer lyrics that are unnecessarily deep and i need to go on genius to decode them. i think that mat's songwriting in this album was very raw and emotional, and no doubt influenced by his relationship ending.

like i said im gonna have to do some relistening and reanalyzing some of these songs but at the end of the day the song's meaning doesn't matter, if it sounds good and you like it then its a good song. i'm sooo excited that muse put out a new album and i hope they continue making music as long as they can bc their shit is always legendary
