Cistrendered - an explanation.

So.. here’s the thing. Tbh, I really do wish I was driven off tumblr.. I wish I didn’t use this site.. And I really feel like any discussion I’ve had around topics of being bisexual, or what lgbt+ means, or what types of heterosexism which exists and what to call them... Has probably added up to a waste of time.. For both myself and people I’ve interacted with (or rather, people who have tried to waste their time on me in hopes I’d return the favour)..

Anyway, when/if I return... I’m done with that shit.

Also, people are lying. I still don’t know I’ve allegedly vagued about, so I don’t know where you all got that information from.. You can’t twist the words of someone you don’t even know exists.. That’s you all twisting my words, I’m pretty sure.

Lying and twisting others’ words doesn’t make you right.. It makes you manipulative, and it of course makes you very much dishonest... It’s as simple as that.. It’s a dishonest thing to make up things as part of your sole argument. And I frankly don’t think such arguments hold merit.

Also, no, I’ve not been ““defeated”“, I’ve just made it not possible to look at that blog (easily?). And while I appreciate that people are being made happy by me.. It’s unfortunately a shallow one, and I am in fact not “gone”.. All this stuff did was just hitting a nail that made me realise something I’ve already realised tbh? It made me finally feel that this discussion isn’t worth it...

It never was. This whole thing.. It’s petty, and it has been a waste of my time.. and I don’t plan on wasting my time more on these people who act like they’re the toughest and most quirkiest bullies of innocence and always being right..

And that’s another thing.. You all default any kind of critique, any kind of question to ridicule, to literal bullying... Instead of actually making sure you get the context and intent right... You all seem to default anything you deem disagreeable to probably being by some oppressive straighty nt bigot who wants to silence ALL survivors.

And I’m not going to really add much to the post beyond what I’ve already said... but there is such a thing as intent and context. That post was about people mocking vulnerable people.. And you all twisted it into being a vague about something that was actually justified as far as I know. Mocking bigotry is justified, and all that shit you all mentioned about nasty stuff is also in my book justified to shit on..

But I think it is really nasty to put that on the level of ace related positivity... Making fun of people’s need for positivity is very different from making fun of bigots and immoral people needing reassurance about that stuff..

And also, I never said there’s no such thing as a coping joke, or people just having a laugh about their own trauma.. Stop defaulting any critique of shitty behaviour to complete censorship of anything that could be deemed vaguely related.. That’s also a dishonest thing to do.

I’ve not said that the compulsory heterosexual stuff isn’t a thing.. just that you all really should keep in mind it’s used against bi women, and that shouldn’t be ignored. and also, that’s another thing you all made up.. I’ve never said anything but that if someone says something is their orientation, then it is their orientation.. unlike you all, i’m not desperate to seek out orientations to call fake.

And also, the concept it describes.. It’s definitely a thing, stop acting like I said it isnt’. I just really wish you would actually just stop so desperately defending it, and actually acknowledge its origin and who coined/popularised the term. And it shouldn’t be unreasonable of trans women to be uncomfortable with terms/theories with such origins..

And literally, I want people to be able to talk about this concept anyway?? Stop putting so many words into my mouth.. I’ve consistently said I don’t think this concept is fake, but you all refuse to take that in and willingly ignore that for some reason. I just really wish that people wouldn’t hold so desperately onto te/rf-made terms, and care about nothing but to defend that we have to do it the specific way.. when literally all I’ve asked for is that we use various other wordings and descriptions to name the term?

And that is literally not saying the experience isn’t real... It’s saying that the term has rotten origins. And since you all seem to fine-comb any terms you don’t like, down to its etyomology and pull anything that proves a term could ever be used badly... You’d think that you’d keep consistent with these high standards of words and actually be a bit critical of a term that was coined by someone who thought I deserve less human rights for existing. You’d think that would hit it.. But I guess since it’s not a “““mogai term”““ you all just don’t care for being the slightest critical of your wording.. Right?
