This work is an introduction to the Kur Twins AU (which main story will be told in the form of a comic)

Kur Twins AU is my vision of Horde Prime's origin story. Some ideas that get explored in the AU:

Horde Prime starts out as a "normal" mortal person, he's not even a royalty

Prime (Anillis Kur at the time) had an identical twin (Hec-Tor Kur)

Young Prime suffers from the same "defect" as Hordak

He and Hec-Tor were mistaken for two local deities by the religious community

Krytis is Prime's homeplanet

Sorry that it took me a few days to release these, but they're here with 25 days to play! And yes, there are two this year. One is only about the canon characters; meanwhile, the second one is just about OCs. So reguardless if you were participating in the event already or not, you can read the rules at the bottom and play for as long as you want!

Was Hordak Horde Prime’s general, and if so, how did that happen?

Once Saffron began to lean further into embracing his physicality, he discovered his love for climbing. He'll scale rocks, buildings, even statues, but the place he climbs the most are the cliffs surrounding the Dryl Spacebat Colony where he lives. He usually climbs barefoot so he can use his toe talons to help grip.

Some of Saff's friends are less than thrilled at the safety risk involved XD

I decided to use one of my own dreams for this concept, because the imagery was too cool not to at least try!

In the dream, I saw two black dragons circling each other in the sky as a thunderstorm raged, and on their backs were two Brothers. One was mine, Jay (bottom left), and the other was Smokey (top right) from @veeskei's Flock. Their dragons had opposing eye colors -- Jay has yellow eyes and was on a green-eyed dragon, and Smoke has green eyes while he rode a yellow-eyed dragon.

The people below were in a panic and thought the two were fighting, but really they were just playing around in the sky. I don't blame them, it was really hard to see with the dark sky and two black dragons darting around. I got to cheat being the dreamer and getting to zoom in on the action XD

This sketch doesn't really do the scene justice. One day I'd like to redo it traditionally in dramatic inks.

A shared love of reading <3

Cas (left, mine) and Eldest (right, @veeskei 's) both love to read. It was a separate hobby at first, until they realized they had this in common. They enjoy sharing book recommendations, exchanging favorites, and spending quiet afternoons reading together. Sometimes the same book at the same time, so they can discuss the chapters with each other as they go along.

You'll have to imagine the couch they're sitting on. I didn't feel like drawing it XD

Songbird has a hard time bearing the image of Prime. At the time he was selected, he felt it was the highest honor, but that was when he expected to give everything to Horde Prime as a Vessel. He never thought he would wake as himself, but with the appearance of a fallen god. Should he feel honored by this?

Instead, Song feels cursed. His strong emotions are a huge source of shame, especially his wish that he could go back to being an ordinary Brother again.

and the same could apply to Hordak and Wrong Hordak. both of them were part of Horde Prime's cult and severely abused by him. sure, Wrong Hordak wasn't cast out for being a defect but that doesn't mean he was having a grand old time with Prime.

And speaking of not caring about people? Not a minute later Adora pretty much admits they're here to rescue Entrapta's competence, not her as a person. And later in the episode, Bow gives her a "friendship speech" that is really 100% about him projecting his perceived failure to be a friend to Glimmer onto Entrapta, and accusing her of "not trying".
