it's just so crazy how friendships between women r devalued so much that anytime two women in media r close friends u end up w a camp of people who go "i prefer them as platonic friends (so i can more easily ignore the significance of their bond)" & another camp that goes "they aren't friends they're girlfriends (bc i cannot fathom their friendship having any meaning or significance)" it's impossible for these people to truly care about women's inner lives & complexities. meanwhile they r writing veritable essays abt the life-changing ride-or-die bond between two fictional men who r somehow coworkers & best friends & soulmates & confidantes & madly in love w each other & divorced &—

need a hat that says I WONT SPEAK UNLESS SPOKEN TO AND ITS NOT BECAUSE IM DISINTERESTED AND DONT LIKE YOU I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND SOCIAL INTERACTION AS WELL AS MOST PEOPLE AND ASSUME BY DEFAULT MY PRESENCE IS UNWELCOME AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE SO I KEEP TO MYSELF BUT I DONT MIND IF YOU INITIATE so i can wear it to work

we need to bring back public hatred for paparazzi. I’m so tired of actors defending themselves against assholes with cameras and being smeared as egotistical divas. they’re glorified stalkers who get paid to harass people. end of. the things these freaks get away with would send normal people to prison but we’re supposed to think it’s okay just bc they’re paparazzi. they SHOULD get shut down for being openly misogynistic. they SHOULD get told off and reported for following someone to their private residence to doxx them. they SHOULD face charges for just about running people over in their pursuit of the next hot celeb. this is not normal. and, actually, these people DO deserve to get punched sometimes.
