🇺🇸There’s a lot of misinformation here on Instagram and other online places regarding the Cinque Terre. One common misconception circulating around the internet is that the Cinque Terre villages are connected by one trail, the coastal SVA (Sentiero Verde Azzurro/Blue-Green Trail). In reality, there are over 120 kilometers of marked trails in the National Park, making up a network of horizontal and vertical routes that can be used to connect the villages in numerous ways. Since the coastal path is so well known, it can be quite crowded, and in the summer months it is extremely hot, but that’s not to say don’t hike it. The crowds and the heat can be avoided by visiting the Cinque Terre in low season, roughly from November through March. If that’s not an option, get an early start on the trail, as early as you can. 🇮🇹C'è molta disinformazione qui su Instagram e altri luoghi online riguardo alle Cinque Terre. Dato che il sentiero costiero è così noto, può essere piuttosto affollato e nei mesi estivi estremamente caldo, ma questo non vuol dire che non vada percorso. 🇺🇸With the help of local maps, historians and 2 half-days of work, our volunteer group of three reopened a section of the “strada comunale del terzo” in Riomaggiore.
