Cheddar’s arrival

Younger (on the left) usually has larger resting pupils and a tooth gap, whilst his current appearance is far less likely to do the smushed face!

Several days ago I took down the original Laci ref, in which it was mentioned that her leg buttons also counted as eyes.

I was afraid this was considered ‘too much’ or ‘out of the realistic realm’ of TADC designs. However, I have been thinking about it a lot, and I decided I enjoy this character design greatly, and I want to share it with the world, not be paranoid about a reputation of being strange. As such, I am now reloading her original ref, as well as sharing additional drawings I have done of her since.

Due to having five eyes (no the one on her shirt isn’t an eye) she is easily disoriented by fast paced action or bright colors, which can make adventures difficult sometimes. When her eyes become scribbles, the button laces tangle.

Something I’ve drawn but never mentioned is that her floating hair bits can act as an icon / indicator

Today I was considering my Digital Eternity characters and their quirks. First I thought about what would happen if Cheddar held his breath? So I came up with two options.

Option 1 was the one I went with. 2 actually got split into two different characteristics. He can have long noodle arms at will,

But I still wanted to retain that unnerving edge. But where do you keep a trait like that in a character that’s so jam packed?

In the mirror.

I don’t really know if this makes any sense or if I’ll even keep it, but as of now, Cheddar’s reflection mirrors his bitter inner self, bypassing his filter and friendliness entirely. He can only see a normal reflection, but everyone else sees *it*.

This mostly causes problems, but can be used for things like cheating at card games
