a lull in the busywork of that morning found eris quietly approaching the pierrot. he had a very specific thing he wanted to discuss with the red clad performer. . ."so, i heard you're pretty good at baking." he sidled up towards the clown, voice a hush as if this was a clandestine topic.

"do you.. by chance. . . know how to make cream puffs..?" eris glanced partially sidelong, up towards pierrot; the usual sharp intensity of his stare softened as his pupils seemed to eat away at most of the red surrounding them. it evoked the image of a hopeful cat waiting for a treat.

The Pierrot hummed softly, tracing a claw tip around the rim of his cup in mindless circles. It was a sweet tea of sorts, not usually his go to drink of a milkshake, but this was sweet enough to tide him over for a while. His golden eyes never left Eris as he worked, legs swinging listlessly beneath the booth.

When Eris approached him, he stilled, giving the young man his full attention. “Yes, my lord.” He crooned sweetly, visibly perking up at the mention of baking. “It is one of my favorite things to do!”

Ah, his dearest was utterly adorable. His painted smile grew in time with the expanding of Eris’ pupils, a sea of black consuming the red until only a faint ring of the iris was visible. “I do. I make cream puffs quite often.” He leaned forward on his elbows, delight radiating off him in waves.

“Would you like to make some with me?”

Do they nest?, if so, how would each of their nest differ from one another? What sorts of materials and fabrics would they use to make it their own?

I would say the only one monsters that would nest are the Pierrot and the Doctor.

The Doctor only nests because of the species of monster he is, aka an avian breed, and feels most comfortable when enveloped by his nest. It is massive and vast, a sort of abstract thing comprised of shiny trinkets and interesting knick-knacks. It is his safe space to think and mull over new experiments.

The Pierrot has no biological urge to nest, but he finds comfort in nestling in a mass of blankets, clothes, and pillows—especially if they belong to his romantic interest. Their smell brings him great comfort, and helps soothe his frequent nightmares.
