Happy New Year everyone, and welcome to 2026. Over a decade ago, I did a piece of art everyday of the year. I tried to recreate that success sometime later - but I was far too ambitious. (I wanted to do 3D models and art and other things like that.) This year, I am attempting the same challenge I had done long ago. But I'm hoping to keep it just as simple: Do a piece of creative work at least once per day for the whole year. It can be a sketch. It can be a study. It could be writing. It could be 3D. It could be a commission. The important thing was the consistency. I would do some art of some kind, every day of the year. So, here's my first quick post of 2026. A little doodle of a cozy (but also very cold) me, drawing my first drawing of the new year. Will I probably draw more today? Possibly.
