He’s been here loads of times. This forest, the base of the mountain. There have been countless reasons on his excursions to come here, and this one held no difference to any other’s. Or, perhaps it partially did. An early trip to isolation as one would put it. On the other hand, Father’s day was a few days away and, knowing Lucina’s close bond to her own Father the tactician decided to celebrate in his own way a few days earlier.
The climb up to his normal plateau’d peak was, as he called it, easy as could be. Perhaps that was because he knew the routes so well, and how to avoid the most rickety spots on that old rope bridge. Morgan had called this Mountain a safe-place for so long now, that it would be impractical to not know every nook and cranny of it inside and out. Like, how once upon a time the Thieve’s of the island had a hide out near the beach, a small mouth into the mountain that was hallowed away for their enjoyment.
Having descended from the top, Morgan had reached the base once more. Exhaling a breathy sigh, he braced on a smile to wear for the next few days. One that would possibly keep his two friends positive. He was about to begin his departure back to his home, when a voice he had never heard before called out to him – to anyone really. His course changed rapidly, and the red-head was searching out for the fellow, bumping in to him as he lifted a few branches over the sound of his voice.
‘Hey there friend!’ He started, pushing the branches out of his way and offering a quick wave at the other. ‘You said you were lost? I haven’t seen your face around before, but hey! No big dealio here.’
Kresniqe is not exactly running, but he’s walking fast, afraid that he might lose whoever it is that’s making their way out of the forest---probably. He’s still not sure if it’s a good idea to approach whoever it is that he’s hearing, if it’s even a person to begin with. For all he knows it’s just an animal minding its own business. Either way, person or not, Kresniqe might as well chase after it, shoving aside stray branches in the way. He sure is out of the path now.
It turns out he doesn’t have to chase after the sound any longer, as someone practically runs into him. Kresniqe blinks, and his face instantly lights up at the sight of the stranger. He holds a stray branch in place, keeping it from waving into his face, and he does his own little wave of his with his other hand.
『 yes, lost. i’ve been here for a couple hours now. i’m afraid my sense of direction is really failing me lately, 』A lot of things are failing him lately, but Kresniqe manages to hold that bit back. He steps away from the stranger and breathes a relieved sigh.『 i’m glad you found me, and you’re right. i’m sort of...a newcomer here? so... 』A pause, and then,『 i hope you don’t mind pointing the way out? 』
