THAT’S SURE SOME FOREIGN LINGO that he’s conjured up –– & he’s unsure of what to say or rather , how to respond. Taken aback , & he catches himself staring , trying to register –– tipping hats , wrinkles from your butter –– ? Well … linguistics aside , he feels a bit sympathetic & despite this not being his usual line of work , he feels obligated –– because family is family , a mantra that reiterated time & time again. For Hearth & Home , guess he’ll apply it to situations like this too ( ? ) Though he subtly sighs beneath his breath , hoping it’s not something he’d regret later.

it was high time luck filled his pockets! lighted with a fierce enthusiasm, vane loosened the grip on his spear and proceeded to introduce himself to the stranger. the eagerness to find his lost nephew hadn’t faded but haste would only cause more trouble for everyone involved. (siegfried would totally say something like that, no?)

before extending his hand, vane dusted off his gauntlet from anything it might have caught. rushing through the forest earlier had him face several monsters –– curiously enough, none of them had seemed similar to anything he’d battled in the past.
