Blair’s eyes narrowed dangerously as Chuck spoke. “You wouldn’t dare. And if you try anything, know that I have ways to destroy even you, Chuck Bass,” she threatened. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to make an appointment at the spa to rid my body of all traces of you.”

As she was walking away, he couldn't resist shouting after her: "Good luck erasing it from your mind. I heart brainwash does wonders, though, miss Waldorf, although I heard that doesn't work with major moments of one's life."

"You say that as if you had a heart to wound instead of the black hole of debauchery that’s in its place," Blair scoffed, quickly and firmly brushing off his attempts at getting through to her. There was nothing to deny, she reminded her on constant loop, though her memories were reminding her otherwise. ”I have nothing to be scared of other than temporary insanity. And I suppose I can’t blame you for not understanding the bond that Nate and I share given that you’ve never had a genuine human connection in your life.”

Shaking his head, clearly untouched by her words, but playing it out unconvincingly, Chuck pursed his lips together into a thin line and started whispering in a monotone way. "Cutting, Blair. Have a little mercy of me." Licking his upper lip out of frustration, he sighed deeply, leaning against a wall of the Waldorf house in a casual manner. "Howsoever, I can't help but blame you for not understanding the effect all of these would have on Nathaniel. Temporary insanity, or not, the facts would still wound him, wouldn't they?" Detached and cold, he gave her a couple of "tsk, tsk" sounds and kept going, callously inserting the tone his father always used. "What about the consequences of your acts, miss Waldorf?"

"As far as I’m concerned, that encounter never happened,” Blair replied tightly, careful not to raise her voice. She knew that Dorota had probably caught on to her unfortunate tryst with Chuck and she wasn’t interested in conforming those suspicions. “I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Nate and I are back together, and I’m not letting you ruin this for me if that’s what you’re here to do. You’re better off going back to your blonde bimbos and air-headed models now.”

On the other hand, he had no care to go on loudly and make himself heard, shamelessly doing it on purpose just so he would put Blair in a tricky situation. "Your delusional half-attempts to deny undeniable chemistry sadly don't wound my heart, because we both know they're feigned." Chuck hissed, although not to keep it on the whisper line. "You are just scared, Blair, because it's the only real thing you've ever encountered with, and for that I'm deeply sorry for Nathaniel." he smiled devilishly and then gave her a dramatic sigh. "They're not always blondes. Sometimes, I don't mind a good brunette."

Blair kept a forced smile upon her lips that she was certain Chuck could see past. “How kind of you,” she replied sarcastically, before turning to her mother. “Would you excuse your house guest for a few minutes? I have some unfinished business to wrap up with him,” she finished, in a deceptively sweet tone, before walking back towards the foyer, expecting Chuck to follow behind her.

Her sharp fake compliment got him nodding in fake gratitude, as he mirrored her smile unwittingly. Taking his seat back, he muttered something to Eleanor, which concluded with placing a kiss on her hanging hand and standing up to follow Blair obediently, a smirk of satisfaction creeping onto his features. "Well, princess of despair," he mused, "how can I be of any help? Or perhaps, you'd want a continuation of our previous encounter?"
