I want to talk about this scene because I think people are wrong to call it cringe and worthless.

First of all, it's hardly a genuine intention to chiki bombini with Gangle, because visual images of people's thoughts are often chaotic and do not reflect their real intentions in general. So I don't think it should be taken literally.
