With a cat’s swift stillness I so cleverly freed the butter tart and concealed it in my toy box.

I told the humans how hungry I was, cunningly, for I was still hungry.

They replied, with hypocritical smiles “♫ No more butter tarts...Chubs already got a butter tart.”

Madmen. My senses sharpened by the taste of butter, I smelled truth: There were more butter tarts!

No lie, no steel, can keep me, or my ghost-accomplice, from the relentless scent of the steaming tart.

But what could we do?

Ghost-Pug and I, in harmony, sighed – we growled – we scratched!

The humans showed no concern, laughing and photographing our horror.

Anything was better than this derision!

“Villians!” I shrieked, and retreated to my toy box, where finally I wolfed down, stealthily, the delicious steaming tart.
