Sister V :)

As I was sitting in front of our dirty kitchen, while waiting for the rice to cook, I am reading 2 Nephi of The Book of Mormon. And I realized how powerful prayer is, and how my prayer, nights ago, was answered by attending the fireside. Indeed, the Lord will provide answers if you ask in faith. Answers may vary, it may be a "yes", a "no" or a "not now, there will be a time for that". In times of doubt and confusion, let us never forget that there will always be a Father in heaven listening to us. All we have to do to remain worthy of receiving revelations from Him is that, we need to continue being obedient, pressing forward, read the scriptures and everything that will glorify Him.. Our Father in heaven will not let his children be lead astray as long as we obey His commandments incessantly.

I realized how Heavenly Father is so merciful towards us His children. Though we have disobeyed, sinned and turned our backs, still he prepares a way for us, so we'd be able to have the chance to return to Him safe and sound. He has provide us all the ways, all the scriptures and revelations to serve as our guide on what to do. And I realized that, going to church every Sunday and serving in the Primary Organization are still not enough to thank Him for everything. :(( No words cam express how grateful I am Dear Lord.

I am so much grateful for the wonderful opportunity, that I was able to attend the PEF fireside, in which the PEF chairman, Bro. Aban was our speaker. I was able to understand more about the 2017 PEF guidelines. I was enlightened, and inspired of the things he shared to us earlier. He had entertained questions from us, he impart his thoughts to us. Gave advices. And my heart is full of joy realizing how our Father in heaven loves us so much. Three years ago, the sister missionaries taught me. And after a month, I was baptized after fully repented. I can still remember how my life was on rocky road, and two days after I was baptized, I can still remember how shocked I am when Sis. Vea told me about the PEF program. I can still even imagine how overwhelmed and excited I am to go home and tell my mom that I can have the chance to go to college again. I realize how blessed I am. For the Lord saw me, knew me. He knew my problems and sorrows back then. And he immediately offered His help. He stretched His hands to me. And I am currently in pain, for I know sometimes I have been ungrateful. I tend to forget how He had helped me because of my emotions. I was and am truly blessed for He is there always to love and guide me. I realized that I need to repent as soon as possible. I need to thank and repay Him for all His goodness to me. I will and shall do my best to please You. It will not be easy, there will be hindrances, pains and struggles along the way, but I will persevere and make commitments for Your glory.
