[ANSWERED] Question after Graduation
Oh my god. I just remember that I posted these stuffs haha I think its time to answer xD
Dear my past...
Today is 4 months after your official graduation, but actually you have been doing nothing for these 6 months. Only playing, watching, spending money, etc.
First of all I would like to congratulation you because you made it! you escaped from the pressure of Korea’s education! I knew you wanted to stop, give up, escape from your reality, but you nailed it.
so here is some update for you.
1. After graduation, you tried to apply for work several times. But it was not easy. Several times you got interviewed but since you were suck in answering interview question, you failed several times. And reach at the moment when you decided to finish everything and go back to your home. But , miraculously, another job offer came. On November you got a job :) But the visa issuance took a month. Today you got your alien card and you will work in a few days.
2. I knew that IE was not my full passion in the career. But somehow you got the general idea about Korea IT industry also at the same time. You dont have to be good to know ;) You also got a good connection that helps you in many ways in the future. Well, in the term of engineering, I think I didn’t improve so much, but in the term of life, I think I’ve learnt a lot. On top of everything, your quality as human is deciding everything.
3. Did I waste my time? Refer to No. 2. Even though It wouldn’t help so much in the term of career, but I think I got a lot of opportunities from that. And I learn about life more. The value of yourself was shown. How dedicated are you to your passion. How dedicated are you to your religion. How good you are as a friend. etc. Hello~ you have added one foreign language to your CV hahaha this is important dude.
4. I remember what I wrote for my study purpose here. I want to learn about newest technologies. Well, I did know general knowledge about that. I also found out that probably being researcher was not my passion, because I hate to study and read papers :/ I like practical stuffs. I like to know the reason why I study this this and that. That is why I challenge myself to something that I hate: programming!
I still remember how suck I was in programming and always trying to avoid. And you got your wish. you worked in the consultant company where you dont need to program but mostly talk to people. But when you did your master, you realized that you want to expert in programming and trying to learn it again from scratch. In this case, yeah, I seem wasting these 3-4 years because leaving my area. I dont know whether I can follow or not. BUT! I know you can do IT!!!
Okay my Past.. I hope you are satisfied :) And lets asking another question to my other Future
