However, the press catches wind of Jaela’s visit and takes a chance to target her. Liam shows up… and isn’t happy with the things she said.

A Surprise Clinic Visit

Anonymous— We’re well aware that Duchess Jaela tried to condemn our magazine, saying that we were spreading gossip that wasn’t anybody’s business. Please, Duchess. Since you decided to murder your kid and brought the idea of legal premeditated murder to Cordonia, your business became everybody’s.

However, while we have much to condemn her for, we… have to admit that her owning up to her abortion and her reasonings behind it were… respectable. However, taking your child to one of your clinics, however, isn’t. Why does a child need to be exposed to this? Certainly the way little Malia looked at her mother as she gave her little speech is unnerving. What values is she instilling in her children? Drake Walker is certainly no help.

You can certainly take the trailer trash out of the trailer but not the trash. (For the record, we do not know if Duchess Jaela grew up in an American trailer park. That’s just a saying, apparently. Either way. Trashy.)

Anonymous— Rumor has it that Duchess Jaela—trying to hide her face from us all—made her first outing outside of Valtoria since this scandal broke. The car drove past reporters, so no word on what happened—her truth—to this abortion and national embarrassment. And where was the first place she went to?

Why, Drake Walker’s new apartment.

It makes sense for a mother to check out where her children will be staying… although, neighbors report there appeared to be more than a goodbye peck shared when she left. All that they said when asked about what more occurred was, “I’m just grateful the car has tinted windows.”

Though the windows are tinted in her car, Jaela sinks low in her seat. She doesn’t want to risk anybody seeing her. They can’t know that she’s visiting Drake’s apartment… More so, Liam can’t know, she thinks, and uncomfortable twist to her stomach. She hasn’t spoken to Liam since he yelled at Lia last night. Sure, she woke up to a delivery of flowers at the door and a note of sorrow but… she recalls holding Lia close, her daughter a terrified mess, just asking questions about things she didn’t understand. He can’t be forgiven. Not now, at least. And he can’t know that Jaela’s… going to visit Drake.

It just wouldn’t be good for any of them. Besides, it’s not like she’s here for anything other than checking the apartment for the kids. Surely Liam would understand that… maybe?
