I am going to connect my show ending to the angry viewers. My show is going to be based off of a book series, and the show "misses" a lot of key factors from the book. I know that always makes me upset, so I feel that this is a unique project idea.
This is a great idea, I often hate when movies or TV shows about books miss key information from the books because then I feel like key elements of the story line are missing.

Week 4: OG Post 1/3
Explain how you are connecting your audience reaction to your version of Favorite Show
While thinking about how to respond as angry fans, I thought about two ideas. One was the reason I had chosen for my version of Favorite Show, which ultimately was a cliffhanger and the mystery of how it would impact the main character. The other was thinking about the shows and movies that inspired my version of the show. I thought about how I would feel if they had done what I had made up for Favorite Show. All the answer I would have wanted but couldn't have gotten. So, I just mixed those two ideas, my reason and my favorite shows to come up with how I thought I would respond as an angry fan.
I've felt the same way about having shows that I've watch be canceled abruptly without know exactly how it would've actually ended. I like both of your ideas for your version of Favorite Show.

what do you appreciate most about your learning about web writing?
To start off, something that I appreciate most about what I've learned through web writing is my better understanding of content and being a creator of content, and how they both connect to each other. Because being completely, I never really gave a whole bunch of thought into the content that I posted, nor did I put a whole bunch of thought into the content that I was consuming through the content creators that I follow on social media.

what are you most proud of with your writing process?
To start off, I would say that the thing that I'm most proud of with my writing process is my ability to use my life experiences in my writing. Even with this class, I've used some of my life experiences, specifically with this week's module, to work on my writing. It's helped me a lot throughout the years to just take my life experiences and put them on paper because I process them better that way.

To start off, I am connecting with my audience's reaction to my version of 'Favorite Show' by basing it on how I've felt when my favorite TV shows have been canceled without any explanation. I also channeled some of the way I text my friends that way the "angry fan posts" seemed more realistic, and more like posts and less like I'm writing a paper.

I narrowed down my choices of accounts based off of the accounts that I love to engage with the most. I wanted to use the accounts that I like so that I felt it was "worth" analyzing their content. I liked being able to go back and ready posts that I may have missed or want to revisit.
I did a similar thing because at first I wasn't sure what accounts I would pick or how I would pick them. I found it easier to just pick three accounts that I already follow on my Instagram and just look through their post, and honestly its be nice being able to go back and relook at post that I've already seen and seeing ones that I've missed.

How are you narrowing your account choices?
I started with one creator I already followed and really liked, then searched for others in the same space who had a similar audience and post style. I looked for creators who post consistently, use a mix of content types (like reels, carousels, and photos), and engage with their audience through captions and stories. I also made sure they focus on romance or fantasy books, since I wanted a clear theme for my analysis. I tried to choose creators that had some overlap but different approaches to how they present their content, so I could compare strategy and style.
I also used this method when choosing my three accounts. Especially since at first, looking at the assignment instructions was a little bit confusing, but once I came up with a strategy it became easy to pick the three accounts.

research question - what did you learn about writing a research question that can be answered through social media data + content strategy ideas? How will this help you in this module?
To start off, I learned that looking through social media data and content strategy ideas first before coming up with a research question. For me, that worked best. I briefly looked through all three of the artists' Instagram accounts, and then I thought of my research question after briefly looking at each of their accounts. I'm not one hundred percent sure about how this will help me within this module, so I guess I'll find out as I work through the module.

data analysis - what did you learn about data analysis from the Module 2 Data Analysis Practice project? how will that help you in this module?
To start off, at first, I found the Data Analysis Practice project a little confusing to navigate, and didn't think I would learn anything from it due to being so confused while working on it. However, I learned to break things down step by step rather than trying to dive headfirst into doing everything all at once, to definitely ask questions even if they seem like they might not be important, and that content creators actually do a lot of work when it comes to deciding what they want to post. Because outside of occasionally giving some thought into what I want to post, I kind of just post whatever I want, but through this assignment, it made me grateful for content creators and the effort that they put into making their posts.

what digital space are you planning to focus on? Youtube/instagram/twitter/website/etc. and WHY???? we want to know the why!
To start off, the digital space I'm planning to focus on is Instagram. I chose it because I don't spend a whole lot of time paying attention to my Instagram and the content that I follow on there (to be honest, I'm more of a TikTok girl). Secondly, the reason I didn't on TikTok compared to Instagram. Thirdly, I wanted to get a little bit more familiar with Instagram since like I said earlier I don't really use Instagram a whole lot; because outside of occasionally posting on it like maybe once or twice a month, sometimes sending reels to my friends, and occasionally liking two or three post I'm not really on it.

Hello, so far this week has gone well for me. I've established a routine for breaking down assignments by day and outlining how I will approach their completion. My friends have also been a big help in helping me get rid of distractions and breaking down the assignments into smaller sections. As far as questions about this assignment/project, I would say other than the ones that I asked on Tuesday, as of right now, I don't have any.

To start off, I'm feeling a little bit better now about taking online courses. I can't lie and say that it's been easy because it hasn't, luckily I have amazing friends who I'm sitting down with later tonight and they are willing to help me come up with somewhat of a "reward system" to help me stay focus and on top of my homework throughout the week. Honestly, this year through fall, spring, and now summer I've struggled a lot with school which isn't something that's every been a problem for me before, but I do think I'm putting a lot of pressure on myself to get back to how I used to be with school rather than taking time to understand that right now I'm only having a minor set back.

To be honest, I'm wondering if online courses are really for me. I feel like I'm struggling to stay on top of my work since I'm not required to physically show up to an in person. I've reached out to some of my friends who are around Millersville to try and help come up with a game plan to help me stay on track, so I don't feel like I'm trying to do this all on my own.

I would say that writing is a way for people to let their creativity out while also sometimes being educational. Also, I think that writing can vary depending on each person's personal opinion on what writing is because I think that "what is writing" is a very broad question and can have several different answers depending on who is answering the question.
