SCENARIO NO. 01 You were with your friends, hanging out and eating in your new found restaurant. A friend who came back from a far away province had been asking questions about how everyone's doing. That friend asks whats new about everyone personally and professionally. That friend is doing it like an interview, asking one person at a time. And here you are, so excited for your turn, that you're arranging everything that you wanted to say and share about how much you've grown as a person and as a professional. You listened and enjoyed everyones answers. Then here comes your turn! Like a child you we're anticipating the same questions you wanted to answer which you've prepared about since the conversations started. And that friend, with all your disappointment asked: "So how's the institution you're working in doing? I heard the company's having a hard time right now. How are the other employees doing?" And it all shattered, the confidence that you've started to build since the start of the day, the beautiful things that you wanted to say and hope to inspire them just got buried deep into your frustrated heart. Have you ever experienced such a thing? Have you ever felt like, no one wanted to know how you are doing lately? Have you ever felt like the least important among your friends? 05012017 Deeply Amazed. Who would've thought that flowers and barbed wires could look good together in a photo? Probably the calming background? Maybe. I dont know but this photo reminded me of how life could be for us. The flowers (the plant itself) represent the goodness of life. The beauty of God's gift, His ever majestic handicraft, His overflowing love, mercy and grace. But since we are still in this sinful world, this beautiful life that we have sometimes is challenged by trials, hurt and pain of which these barbed wires represent. Imagine if this plant continue to grow and continue to touch the wires, it will definitely be pierced and be wounded. Like as how we continue to grow in this life that we have in Christ. This beautiful life, this special gift from God will always be challenged by those around us, trying to test how true and how strong we are, not knowing that as we are deeply rooted in Him, we see beyond these trials. We look beyond these struggles, we see the bright sun, we expose ourselves under the heat of His love withstanding any obstacles that the enemy would try to spread before us. We see beyond the wires, we see the finished work of Jesus Christ on that cross, of which Him, himself the flower who was crowned with torns had overcame these all. We see beyond the wires, definitely we see the calm background, the beautiful life awaiting us, the beautiful life beyond the painful wires of challenges, the beautiful life with the Creator! #deeplypondered #symbolism #ilovewhatido #ilovehowHerevealsthingstome #wheninBataan #flowerstory
