âYou need to have as many lazy nights as you can, once the babies arrive forget about themâ Of course, he would offer to babysit whenever Jae was in need of a break, but it was nice to make fun of his friend by telling him everything that would change in his life. âIâm not, God no, babies are not in my plans. Itâs just a Choi thing, apparentlyâ He commented, since both siblings would become parents. âThatâs good to know, sheâs going to be a terrific mom, youâll be a somehow decent dad tooâ again, he joked. âIâll make sure to tell her sheâs beautiful, donât worry. And my girlfriend didnât say that, you do laugh when youâre with me so stop saying iâm inventing thisâ He sighed, smiling playfully. âHe totally knows what heâs doing, plus, itâs easy to go to the doctor when said doctor was in the army with me, you know, it makes me hate therapy a little lessâ He commented looking through the window. âWhat are we buying today?â
âI know.â And while he couldnât say he was actually looking forward to not having lazy nights, Jaehyun also couldnât say he was dreading it either. It was what it was and he was going to be a father. âThat she will...â Again, he bobbed his head. There was something in his smile whenever he spoke about Amelia. âItâs what sheâs always wanted. Iâd be lucky if Iâm half as decent as she is, though. And well... youâll be called in for some uncle duties, just so you know.â Jaehyun chuckled as he turned right on one street. âFine,... youâre somewhat decent, fine.â Hearing Noah talk about Jackson was always nice as well. He knew how much the other man meant to Noah, and how much heâd been helping Noah throughout everything, so that was nice. Jackson was a nice friend as well. âDonât hate therapy. What did it ever do to you? Damn, hater. Weâre buying cribs for the babies. Itâs the only thing missing for their nurseries, but I had to finish two big projects and I focused on them. I need to get these cribs before Halloween because the closer we get to due date, the more Ames is going to worry about coming home to no cribs and I want to avoid that.â
