I guess I’ll talk about some of my past usernames as well

I originally was stellagalaxia, which is a name of my main OC/Self-Insert-but-not-really. She has universe-adjacent motifs, if you couldn’t tell. I changed it because I want to decouple this name from my actual self, in case I ever wanna make a blog my oc “runs” (though I have yet to touch it)

I changed to infinity-times-infinity for a bit, which is my favorite line in my favorite song: Sun, by Sleeping At Last. It kinda encapsulates some deeply-held hopes/beliefs I have about the nature of the universe/existence, but I changed it again because I want to potentially use the url for a blog that is very specifically about Sleeping At Last’s body of work.

I am currently settled on we’re-here-because, which is a reference to a kind of inside joke within Nerdfighteria (you can read about it in John Green’s essay on Auld Lang Sine in The Anthropocene Reviewed, which is free as a podcast as well as a buyable book). I mostly took it becauee I was very surprised such a, what I consider, a high-value URL was avalible and wanted to take it first :P…It also describes some of the existentialism/optimistic nihilism that I ascribe to.

We’ll see how long this one lasts.

If your story feels stuck, it likely needs friction. Not explosions. Just a little pressure.
