and you swear your heart broke 

throwing your bag unto their couch 

you sat down on the floor, letting out a sigh

you werent mad at them but today was just really shitty

and now that you were left alone with no one to hear you, you just break

your tears finally escaping, every emotion catching up to you 

what you didnt know was that the boys were all just cramped in their tiny bathroom, trying to stay as still as possible to not make a sound 

as soon as they heard your cries they all give each other a knowing glance, guilt catching up to them 

a hand makes its way to your shoulder, startling you 

“hey its okay, its just me,” 

“i- i thought you werent home,” you say desperately trying to wipe the tears away but the more you tried the faster it fell 

“dont get mad, but we were just pranking you, we were all hiding in the bathroom” jeno whispers afraid that if he spoke any louder you might just lose it

and then, one by one, you see them all come out of the bathroom, guilt and worry plastered on their faces 

“you guys are so mean,” you say letting out a quiet chuckle as tears still continued to spill from your eyes 

hearing your laugh, though forced, was enough for the boys to know that you werent mad at them as they all gathered you up into a big group hug 

“aigoo, what happened to my baby?” jaemin says, his sweet and caring nature coming to life as he softly pulls you onto his lap and played with your hair

you cuddle into him, mark passing you a box of tissues and a glass of water as your hiccups decided to take over 

you explain to them what happened that day 

from you missing the bus this morning to failing your exam because of the lack of time to losing your wallet in the midst of it all

the boys listen to every word and cant help but feel even guiltier 

“were sorry for adding on to your stress,” jisung says 

“its okay, i just... was really excited to see you guys,”

“well, were here now! so lets get this party started!” hyuck says livelier than usual and you cant help but be grateful for him because as soon as those words left his lips, the mood became so much better 

the rest of the night was just spent with all of you on the floor cuddled into the layers and layers of blankets watching rom coms 

sometimes you catch one of them looking at you to make sure youre okay and you just give them a small smile because honestly, youre fine

you got your tears out and your with your favorite boys 

this dude was friendly, 

a bit odd, 

but nevertheless you find yourself laughing as he cracked jokes left and right 

it was almost crazy how different he was from the lino you’ve seen on stage before 

practicing with him was a breeze

he was a professional and you're convinced that no matter what happens he’ll be able to fix it 

of course, you kept up with him 

when it was finally time to perform, you feel anxiousness just seeping throughout your body 

“aye, you okay?” he whispers, as the two of you stand backstage waiting for your turn 

“yeah im just nervous, this is my first collab stage”

“dont worry, i got you,” he says with that teasing smirk on his face 

the same one that youve grown accustomed to seeing 

you give him a small smile 

and then everyone was rushing you two to the stage 

the next thing you know, you were in place 

the bright spotlight finally shining on you signaling that it was your move 

finally, the days of practice was coming fully alive on stage, lino right next to you 

every step was perfect, your guys’ bodies hitting every move on the right beat 

until 

you missed a step 

you braced yourself, closing your eyes, ready to feel the ground against your back but instead you were met with brown chocolate eyes staring into yours 

his hands around your waist as he dips you, improvising and pretending that this was the move all along 

you hear the sounds of cheers around you getting louder than before as you noticed that linos face was only inches away from yours 

and then the spotlight fades and you were left in the dark

you were in a daze as the boy took a hold of your hand and quickly walked the two of you off the stage 

“why are you looking at me like that?”

“huh”

“its because im handsome huh?” he says wiggling his eyebrows and striking a pose

his giggles soon following shortly after and you cant help but join him, finally coming back to your senses 

“thank you”

so he likes watching scary movies with you because it makes him feel extra needed 

not that you dont show him you need him but you usually have a strong character 

so when you act like this he just falls even harder 

everytime you let out a screech or a small whine, 

he thinks its the cutest sounds in the world 

you use his hands to cover your face and he cant help but let out a boisterous laugh, finding it absolutely funny that you have your own set  of hands yet you felt the need to use his

usually hes already seen the scary movie beforehand but shhh he never tells you that ,,, to maintain his “manly” image lmaao 

he teases you a lot especially in scenes that are super scary 

and even though its really annoying, it helps calm your nerves

he knows this which is why he does it  

in one scene, you couldnt help but cuss due to how scared you were 

and he just looks at you, jaw dropped

“baby!!!,” he’ll say before chuckling 

“i cant help it ! its so scary”

“dont worry, im here to protect you,” he teases you, eyebrows wiggling as he wrapped his arms around you even tighter 

after while you notice that hes quieter than usual as the teasing stopped

so you look up at him 

and

this mf is ASLEEP ?!!?!>!!

youre about to slap his chest and yell at him for torturing you with this movie while he just SLEEPS

but he looks so peaceful 

so you watch the rest of the movie, alone, hiding your face in the crook of his neck at times 

when the movie ended, you were just left with your boyfriends soft snores 

you lay him properly down and hes just like “hmm”

“the movie is over” you whisper 

“okay” he says opening his arms up for you to snuggle into 

you were at practice so you couldnt call him but you were freaking the fuck out so you mass texted him instead 

babe

after reading your texts he also starts worrying 

i guess he had that coming 

but its not as funny as it was anymore

and you read that text and you calm down for a bit because hes right

you will figure something out 

its not like your companies didnt know that the two of you were dating anyways 

after the confrontations, your companies both sent out one of those “han jisung and y/n have been friends for a while and have decided to take their friendship to the next level,” articles - confirming your relationship 

jisung was at your place when the article dropped 

he presses a soft kiss to your temple, “i told you we’ll be fine”

“hm, i love you ji”

“watch our break up article come out in 3 months,” he says jokingly as you tossed a pillow to his face 

“dont even think about it han jisung, i swear”

but as soon as you two start writing, all those nerves went away 

he makes sure that you’re not intimidated 

so he’ll crack a few jokes here and there 

always taking your ideas 

if he notices that youve been quiet for too long , he’ll ask you for suggestions 

he really values your opinions 

assures you that theres no such thing as a bad idea 

and hes very good at making you feel at ease and you realize that nothing has really changed between the two of you 

you start suggesting everything that you think would make the song better 

and he takes every single one and encourages you to keep going

he finds it cute when you start rambling 

“we should add a beat here! oh and maybe we should say this instead of this!!! and and!! and we should add harmonizations on this part!!”

and he just lets out a low chuckle, doing everything that you say

there were some ideas that you suggested though that he didnt really like 

but instead of saying he hated it 

he would just revise it a tiny bit

he does a really good job with making you feel comfortable

at the end, you guys come up with a bop!

the song ended up going in stray kids’ albums 

it was a song about pining for someone and wanting more with that person but because of the current situation, it just wasnt possible 

you could say that it was about the two of you 

but none of you dared to admit it out loud 

it was totally changbins style 

but it also had a new style to it that stays couldnt quite exactly figure out who it was
