spends too much time deciding on which exhibits to go to and ends up visiting contemporary art first

he either gives you some stupid response about how the person looks constipated or an extreme in depth analysis on the emotive and symbolic intent of the art

both make you smile so he’s proud of himself

a special scenery exhibit known for it’s romantic mood catches his eye and he wants to ask you to go but he’s too shy

please just grab his hand and drag him when you notice

taking photos of each other and too many selfies together

spending time admiring the exhibit and cringing at other couples you see even though you know you’re one of them

making general conversation about the gallery you just saw and what your favourite sections were

doesnt let go of your hand until you leave and have to throw away your admission wrist band

cough he doesn’t chuck it out but instead keeps it as a souvenir of your first date

before the date finishes, he walks into the gift shop and buys a way too overpriced postcard of an artwork you said you liked as well as some stupid gallery-themed candy that’s obviously made to scam tourists 

but 10/10 he got to enjoy art and be with you
