I am grateful to be part of this unique branch in China. I call it the phone call branch. Different experience and very peculiar. But the language of the spirit is so much the same. It is strong and it is bringing so much joy in my soul. Like a sunflower happily growing and feeding from the sun. . Love it. 🌻

Dispute not. Oil on canvas. . March 17, 2018. . I woke up 8:45 am. I've been wanting to start oil painting again. I said to myself that we will start from small. I pray and read the scripture, because supplicating my soul is as important as nourishing my body. As I start to read in Ether 12, I stopped on verse 6 and felt the words "dispute not because ye see not". . From that verse I felt like I want to express what I feel from it. I thought of the temple. Manila temple. The temple where I was endowed. I miss it. It is the place where I started to feel more that God is real. I felt it inside. I never saw him literally with my own eyes. But the feeling was so strong, that even though I am physically away from the temple, I can still feel it's power as I remember what I feel inside as I remember every covenants I made inside that place. It's guiding me. I don't need my eyes to know He is real. I have my heart. And my heart can see what my eyes cannot. (at Xiamen, Fujian)

Meron akong memory nung bata ako na first time makahawak ng krayola at nagumpisa akong magdrawing sa pader. Ang saya nung feeling ko. Hindi ako pinagalitan ni mommy kahit na dinumihan ko yung pader namin ng mga taong stick na nagbebenta ng mansanas tapos nandun ako sa drawing na yun bumibili ng mansanas. Ang saya ko. Masayang bata na gusto lang mag gumuhit at magkulay ng mga bagay na nararamdaman niyang masaya siya. Yung bata na yun hindi namatay. Buhay na buhay padin. Hindi padin siya huminto na mangarap. Hindi padin siya hihinto na ipinta yung nararamdaman niya. Ngayon yung bata na yun. Napapamahal sa emosyon na binibigay ng kulay dilaw. Masaya. Puno ng liwanag. Puno ng pagasa. (at Xiamen, Fujian)

While making this little baby bird. I was crying. And trying to hide my tears so no one would notice how weird I look, painting and full of emotions haha. I'm that easy to cry. But the reasons for my tears is because of this talk given by Neill F. Marriott @neillfmarriott "Abiding in God and Repairing the Breach". I felt so much joy while listen to her and I repeated it 3 times today. I felt at peace and connected to my creator as I paint and listen to her talk. I have this deep feeling that all I want is to improve in this life connecting to Him, drawing nearer to Him and abiding in Him. I put my trust in Him because I've seen the difference in my life without Him compare to the life filled with Him. I'm just so happy. (at Xiamen, Fujian)
