some art I made for an self indulging au of the infinite tsukuyomi sucseeding and pretty much everyone dying making the afterlife a mess and so the ghosts make Kakashi (the only living person, aside from Obito) time travel to fix it
So basicly when everyone was put into the tsukuyomi Obito desided that he was gonna join Kakashi in his dream but in true Kakashi fasion hes paradise is a world in which he is dead and Obito can't accsept that so he pulls both of them out of there
Obito spends time with Kakashi in the real world trying to convinse him that the paradise world would be great by building a manor, giving him beutiful clothing and such
meanwhile Kakashi is having none of it and is trying to convince Obito to stop the ultimate tsukuyomi
(neither of them is sucsessful)
while all of that is happening humanity is pretty much getting wiped out, and becuase no new life is being created the reincarnation system is crashing
This leads to spirits and yokai (that haven't been seen since the bijus got sealed) to reapear, also the dead that dosn't have anywere to go spill into the living world
(The ones who died in the tsukuyomi are odd spirits who dosn't register anything that goes on, they often just wander amelessly, interacting with them doesn't work, most of them get eaten by yokai pretty fast)
(The ones in the purelands have more agency but they can't do much from there)
some of the dead try to come up with a plan to send the living back in time to stop this from happening
the dead being: Rin who have been haunting Obito this whole time and is very angry about what has been wrought in her name, itachi who was haunting Sasuke, Shisui who was hauntin his eyeball (he was enjoying being a bird)
(I have yet to decide what to do whith the edo tensei people)
