tmz Y/n L/n performed a unreleased song called "the cure" during a surprise set at Coachella.

L/n saying "This next song is a new one. It's about being in a relationship that is quote-unquote happy and having these thoughts of 'Why do I feel so depressed? Why can’t I feel how I think it’s supposed to feel in my head?' After I had that conversation with myself, I went and wrote 'the cure' which is this song, I hope you enjoy". L/n gave no hint as to when the song will be released.

In the song, L/n talks of loneliness and intrusive thoughts while reflecting on a relationship she initially viewed as an "antidote". L/n has been in a relationship with McLaren Formula One driver Oscar Piastri for 2 years now, their relationship status is unknown at this time.

a rainy, sick day

sypnosis : its a gloomy morning, drought settling in and you're laying in bed, feeling more horrible from the fever you brought home last night. jude bellingham, your boyfriend, helps you feel better, and proves how much of a caring man he truly is.

AGHHH this is my first little fanfic writing piece i placed together + posting it! jude bellingham x reader has been really on my mind lately too so here i am to feed the hungry (me). very short but hope ygs still like it!

it was pouring outside of the apartment complex, and you were paralyzed in bed, not being able to move from how cold you were even underneath the blankets and how ill you were feeling overall.

the morning you woke up, you were greeted with a sluggish feeling and a stuffy nose, alongside a minor headache. your brows narrowed, as if it was going to help.

jude was on the other side, facing the window, unaware of how much worse your cold has become. he was sleeping peacefully, sound asleep like a baby, while you felt like you were fighting for your life underneath the sheets.

abruptly, you shot out several heavy and loud coughs while hunching over in pain, laying in bed in an uncomfortable position. jude woke, as if your coughing was his set alarm for the day. was it that loud?

he turned, facing you on his side, his eyes slightly opened and his eyebrows raised. "morning." he said in his low morning voice. his deep british accent dripping through.

now, your reaction would've usually just been to cuddle up beside him, not to disturb the peaceful moment. but your sickness just ruined it for today.

"what?" jude says as he stretched his arms a little. he thought you looked a little angry – it was just you looking sick.

"what? im not-"

coughing entered the room once more. he sat up beside you while you turned your body the other way, facing the door.

"are you sick?" he gasped quietly. he immediately felt a wave of shame run across his body from not knowing you were unwell right away.

"it's just a little cold," you insisted. "it's not much of a big deal jude." you sniffed your nose once more.

he sat up and shifted closer to you, turned your head and took a close look at your face, his eyes narrowed, examining you.

"ill get a cold rag. stay here." he hurriedly stood up from the bed and walked out the door to the kitchen to prepare a bowl of ice cold water and a cloth.

"ugh." you murmured under your breath. it wasn't because he rushed to take care of you – you loved that. you just felt incredibly horrible and yucky.

jude came back into the room with a bowl of ice and water, a cloth, and tylenol. he sat down on the edge of the bed beside you, placing his items next to himself.

"was this from last night? did it get worse?"

"no, it was from a year ago and it did not get worse." you said sarcastically.

"why are you so grumpy?" you were always grumpy when you were sick. he knew that.

"i dont know. im sorry. I know you have plans and stuff–"

"i dont, that's next week. don't stress out. especially when you're so ill."

he stood up and moved back to his original spot on the bed, beside you. he grabbed the cloth and dunked it into the bowl, wringing out the water and placing the cold compress on your forehead. it brang you relief and comfort, knowing he was here to care for you.

the room was quiet, with the heavy rain pattering on the windows. the lights were off, but the room still had a bit of brightness from the outside, making the space comfortable and calm.

he re-soaked the cloth, wringed it again, and place it on your forehead once more. he looked into your eyes, but he looked a little sad. you saw him beginning to frown with his eyebrows narrowing – in a concerning way.

"why are you looking at me like that?"

"you just look so.. sick."

you instantly shot up your hand out of the covers and playfully hit his arm, offended at his choice of words as you frowned even more.

"no, not like that!" jude laughed, his hand still on your forehead. "im sorry." he somehow smiled and frowned at the same time, his expressionate face piecing it together.

"i meant it as if.." he was trying to find the right words. "i just don't like seeing you so tired from a fever. you're never this ill."

you shot out a giggle. "you're so sweet."

jude was always sweet.

he's affectionate and always cares about you. whenever he shows it through words, he just sounds like a little boy who's truly concerned for you, but just can't find the proper words. and it makes you laugh, every single time.

and that's what you loved about him.

you turned, facing him, the comforter covering you up until your neck. jude's eyes met yours, and you could see how his eyes expressed a sort of longing and love in them. it was quite sudden.

"what?" you questioned him.

"just admiring you."

"im sick. you admire how i look while im sick?"

"mhm."

he gave you a soft peck on your cheek, as the corners of your mouth raised into a small smile. you loved his sweet and small gestures, more than the bigger ones. it made you feel real.

even though he still had little to no time left to spend with you, having the following week follow up with a jammed schedule for him, you know he'd still think about you. care about you. most importantly,

he'd always love you.
