one thing i love about them is that there has to be some sort of trust between them. Whether you like them as moirails or like me matesprits or even friends i think trust…is key for them.

Yeahh it’s really pretty hard to trust Gamzee when it seems like he’s still pulling a lot of saucy evil stuff behind the scenes, but ahhh I just love these two <333
ok so i am aware the separate body thing is probably entirely disproved at this point but here’s the theory anyway because i drew it out and i’m dumb enough to post it
the two mutually agreed to chain themselves up, and the chains on their sides permanently secure themselves. the middle chains give them space to talk/interact in the neutral zone, but not reach each other’s sides. this also prevents them from tampering with the locks on the sides when one is sleeping (uu isn’t able to reach UU’s permanent lock and the reverse holds true)
unfortunately none of this makes any sense given the (edit) MASSIVE AMOUNT OF EVIDENCE PILING UP (uu breaking UU’s chess set) as they are heart-achingly, obviously the same person. and this method is incredibly impractical and cluttered with inconsistencies.
but oh well it was fun to draw it all up anyway
