I’m poor, obviously, so that’s my big reason. The control aspect does make a lot of sense, I gave up my life in my home country to come here, and then everything was different. I also stopped living with my brother, so I didn’t have anything from my old life or anyone to ask for help. It is not much about corrupted companies for me, but respect to all of those who do it for that reason. It seems like some people just do it because they want to? I get that vibe.

I don’t have any money so that’s why you guys mostly see me lifting food & bras at the most, some cosmetics. I do genuinely enjoy it, though. It’s kind of hard not to. Free stuff, right?

yeah same pretty much. i've never had a job and now trying to get one is even harder because of it, and being in college i really need the money, and i want to earn it on my own because i already feel guilty enough having my parents paying most of my tuition. lifting has actually helped me make money (through boosting a combo of lifted and thrifted/unwanted clothes online)

I've always lifting tiny things like pencils, because i loved them and my mum didn't buy me that kind of things. I'm at university, so i'm in red numbers until i can pay that (here, it's like 5,000 dollars the year, so expensive! I've been 5 years at u and need othe 2 years to finish that shit, i pay like the 1/4 price and need to pay after star working). So i'm poor. And get pregnant at 18, that made me even more poor. If i want pretty things for me, thhe only way i get it it's like this, if i have money i'd prefer spend it on things for my son.

Haha, spanglish is the best. I know how difficult it could be, it's easy for us to learn our mother tongue, right? But I'm study linguistic and it's... Even scary how your brain get this two (or more) languages and struggle to understand. The more I study and think about it, I'm more and more impressed of people that talks a lot of languages, I mean, being bilingual is like a brain miracle.
