Funnily enough, all the attention on the Lost Boys from the start of the year hadn't made it too hard for Lorcan to see Tinley. Visits were infrequent still, but she'd pop up here and there after avoiding the cops on every block. He was only just now making good on the promise to hook her up with more parts from the old lottery machines, so he had an excuse to visit the thrift shop when things were slow.
Things with Tim had been... progressing. Progressing in a way that was both very exciting yet also made Lorcan's anxiety spike through the roof. He still would only pop his head into Lorcan's apartment for fleeting moments and then run straight back to wherever else Peter demanded from his gang. Always further confirmation that Lorcan was the second choice to everything else...
He tried not to let that frustration and anxiety get back to Tinley. She both had nothing to do with the situation and yet somehow everything to do with the situation. Maybe it came with the territory of being a foster kid in Godscobh: buying into the bullshit Peter had spewed.
"Hey Tins," The dealer waved the blonde down as the twinkling bells above the thrift shop's doo announced his entrance, "Someone order a box full of junk?"
