     To sunbathe on rocks wasn’t anything new for the sea-ghoul, making sure that it was far away from the parts of the beach where those HUMANS would linger, they allowed themselves a moment of rest. With palms resting on the hard surface, head was tilted towards the sun, locks by now untied and pillowing behind their back. Occasionally they would raise their tail, before they would gently hit it against the stone underneath them. The calm waves leaving many droplets in their wake, glistening upon iridescent scales. And so they hummed lightly under their breath, that is until a particular scent caught their attention, though they would not turn around. Not yet.

                                   Infuriating. To see someone { moreso                something } to casually sat by her beach eventhough they                knew how the shore had long being cursed by the curse                of death. There had been tales and rumors surfacing the                thoughts of the civilians around that anyone who dared                walking upon the sand of this part of the beach would be                swallow by the ocean’s wrath. And of course it wasn’t the                ocean’s wrath that was { swallowing } them ; rather, a                hungry water horse who made humans entering her                ( territory ) as preys, hence meal. Although her visitor this                time was { different } rather. A mermaid ; as how their tail                risen against gravity would have told Serena by her vision.                  “There’s a ( lost ) Little Mermaid on { my } beach. What                should I do now with it”
