also i am of the belief that yes, dark content is good and necessary, and the creation of complicated fucked up evil art is a net positive for society and a really good and responsible way to explore complicated feelings that arise from trauma (< michael haneke enjoyer). it’s incredibly cruel and reductive to accuse everyone who wants to explore these tropes of being a child abuser, especially when so many people who create dark fiction are survivors themselves! but there’s just no safe way to host this on a website that is built for anonymously connecting with people in a 1on1 private chat, especially when said website isn’t explicitly 18+. discouraging grooming and potential harm to children is a thousand times more important than you guys getting off or writing problematic content lowkey.
