And I wrote a little about the cult! Which plays a big role in my characters' lore.
The cult itself was founded by three people: Shprisen, Odillia, and Louis.
They've been friends for a long time, and all three are obsessed with cults and everything related.
When they found a book and learned that they could summon something, they went ahead and did it.
That's how they freed an ancient entity named Nitori.
He promised them knowledge, protection, success, and in return, he only asked for obedience and that the ram's requests be carried out.
They agreed, and that's how the Devil Eye Cult came to be.
Now, briefly about the leaders.
Shprisen β The cult's leader and main initiator. He left the cult after his son was born, paying the price with his eye.
Took his own life for the safety of his family.
Odillia β Was in charge of rituals and the protection of female members. She helped with many things and it was she who created the uniform.
Was killed by Louis (no one knows this; everyone thinks she went missing).
Louis β Former assistant to the cult leader. Currently the sole acting leader.
Father of Trench and Mitsy.
The Damned Eye Cult promises protection, true happiness, and a sea of knowledge.
You will have everything.
Once you come here, you will forget all your troubles and worries.
But don't forget the rules:
1. Women and children are untouchable β violation carries, at times, a death sentence.
2. Sacrifices are voluntary β no one will force a person to do it. However, if an outsider wanders into a gathering, they will not meet a good fate.
3. If you leave the cult, suffering awaits you, and you will not be left alone. Either you sacrifice yourself, or your loved ones suffer.
4. If you leave the cult, protection is lifted from you, and all rules from points 1β2 cease to apply.
Nitori also has three assistants:
Β· Brad β In charge of archival records, documentation, and plans.
Β· Odette β In charge of protecting the cult and ensuring the rules are followed.
Β· Shiny β Has no specific role, but she prepares tasty treats and you can cry on her shoulder.
All gatherings and rituals take place in an old abandoned church in the forest.
And in that same old forest lies the "Old Town" β well, what's left of it... So you might sometimes come across abandoned, ruined houses and mansions.
And by the way, behind the church itself is an old cemetery, where, according to rumors, a malevolent vampire and all sorts of ghouls dwell.
But none of this stops one young man β namely, Axel.
There are rumors about the cult, and people sometimes go missing in the city.
Axel wants to uncover secrets and know the truth about his father β but is he ready for it?
Is he ready to learn that the father he looks up to was a former cult leader?
And this young man has a lot ahead of him.
And there helpers of Nitori!
