i want to tell you i love you, but i get so shy when we make eye contact. it makes me forget how to speak.

i've recently been recalling one very specific memory-golden sunlight beaming in, illuminating your face in the most angelic way. more specifically, those gorgeous rosewood eyes with glints of gold in them. gently pushing you back onto the bed and watching your hair flow right before you hit the pillow. the shinmer of the sun off of your braces when you smile. your warm hands on my thighs. lots of kisses all over your face. the natural high.

she's my muse

since we've officially moved in together, i've felt nothing but happiness, peace, and tranquility. i wake up next to her every morning, and kiss her forehead before i go start chores for the day. running errands is more enjoyable with her, and cooking for two is so much easier. even when things get hard, there hasn't been a day where i've regretted any of this.

being with you feels like seeing the world in color for the first time

her back is against my chest, our hearts are beating in synch, we're breathing together, and rain is falling outside of my bedroom window. it doesn't bother me that her hair is in my face; it's soft and smells nice. it's almost like we were meant to be-she fits into my arms like she was made to be held by me. no one has ever made me feel this way before.
