i decided to have fun reading this and headcanoned richard, henry, and francis all as women... cuz i can. so henry/henrietta is in the forefront (on the left), camilla is to her right, with charles crouching beside her, and francis in the background standing over the farmer's corpse. this is more inspired off the scene than a direct recreation of it cuz you can see some of the things arent accurate to the scene. i actually am currently only halfway through the book but this scene made me FEEL things and i wanted to draw it for my birthday cuz dionysian yay. this lighting was very difficult and my artstyle is currently in a weird transition period-- i can’t figure out just what i wanted to do with it. I wanted them to look blissed out and gone mad so i hope that this is... evocative. anyways yay hope i see more similar scenes in the book but i dread that i wont...
