So I just realized that I’m a little older than the KE fandom, I think, and I’ve been around tumblr longer and participated in a quite a few fandom weeks. I didn’t realize that some of you have no idea what those are. It’s a whole week of the year, every year, maybe we’ll do it twice a year, where you fill a prompt for each day of that week.

Its supposed to inspire the fandom to create new works and be creative. You can submit fanfic’s, gifs, fanvids fanmixes, drawings, etc. You can use whatever characters or ships you’d like to use, it’s free range, whatever inspires you!!!

Here’s an example of what Week #1 could look like:

Monday - Harry Potter AU

Tuesday - Soulmates

Wednesday - Marriage

Thursday - Sick/Hurt

Friday - Fluff

Saturday - Tropes & Cliches

Sunday - Artists Choice

Sometimes people create one long fanfic using each prompt for each chapter, some use each prompt for a one shot. It’s all up to you. I decided to do this mainly because the fandom has been in a state of chaos recently and with the delay in filming I thought we could really use a boost to our morale. I hope this explains things a bit better for you guys who’ve never heard of these fandom weeks.
