Lets Be Alone Together

“It means a lot, really. She’s like--my favorite person. I’ve always really looked up to her and she’s been really supportive of me. My dad not so much so...so I really appreciate her.”

“You think so?” Chelsea smiled shyly, scrolling through some more of her photos as her cheeks heated to a soft pink.”I’ve always wished I looked like her. She’s so beautiful. So--well, thank you.”

“I swear I will.” Chelsea laughed, pulling him down next to her and taking out a lighter.”Come on, take one out.”

“Oh, uhm, no. Actually, I just like taking pictures of pretty people so I can put them in my portfolio for college. Is--Is that okay with you?”

“No, just for your own senior pictures. For parents to keep and stuff. Maybe I did get the wrong person...”

“Then get down here, yah goon.” She grinned wide, already blowing a few bubbles.

“If you don’t use those I swear I’ll cry.” She said and sat on the ground, looking up to him and smiling.”Let’s light up.”

“No! This is your second surprise. You’re taking these bubbles and you’re going to have a great time. I also have cheeto puffs.”

“And!” She handed him the jar and pulled out two small bottles of bubbles.”Even better! Aren’t I the best?”

“We’re going to walk some of it.” She said and took his hand, leading him down the trail and through a bit of shrubbery into a secluded patch with smaller trees and a few large rocks to sit on or against.”Here.” She pulled a small jar out of her bag, unzipping the ziploc she had it inside and loving the smell it gave off.”Yes?”She smiled, looking at the jar of pre-rolled joints. 

Chelsea led him on about a 15 minute walk into the city, seeing an apartment complex with a collection of trees and a trail behind it.”That’s it over there.” She hummed.

“Oh...Well that sucks. Are you going to be okay?”
