I chose this artist because I liked the flower like image that e produced. 

Judy Ledgerwood: Tequila, 2006, arcrylic on paper, 18 1/2″ x 21 5/8″ and Women in Park, 2016, oil on canvas, 50″ x 60″. 

I chose this artist because, one of her pieces was titled Tequila and I love Tequila. It’s my favorite drink. 

Marilyn Minter: Gold Tip, 2009, Chromogenic print, 45″ x 60″ and Last Sleepy Angel, 2017, C-print, 85″ x 64 1/2″

I chose this artist because I like the imagery that she produces and the tecnique she uses. 

Antony Gormley: Body III, 2009, Carbon and casein on paper, 43 7/10″ x 30 3/10″ and DOMAIN FIELD, 2003, Offset litographic poster printed in colours, 13 3/5″ x 23 1/5″ 

I chose this artist because I liked the forms that e was presenting of the human body. 

Banksy: Choose Your Weapon (sky blue), 2010, screenprint, 27 14/25 x 27 14/25 in. and Very Little Help, 2008, screenprint in colors, on wove paper, 20 x 14 4/5 in. 

I chose this artist because of his bold statements with his imagery and his color choice. 

Andrea Galvani: Higgs Ocean #1, 2009, C-print mounted on aluminum, white wood frame, UV glass, 43 3/10 x 55 1/10 x 2 1/5 in and Death of an Image #4C 2005/2012, archival pigment ink print, 20 x 28 in. 

I chose this artist because I thought Andrea’s images were really beautiful and breathtaking when you look at it. 

Eileen Senner: Artgrafico, 1, Oil on wood panel, 24″ x 24″ x 1″ and Artgrafico, 2016, Oil on wood panel, 24″ x 24″ x 1″. 

I chose Senner because I like how you can see forms in his work but you still are unsure if it’s the form that you are seeing or not. 

Francisco Nicolas: Mountains K0019, 1, Digital print, Ultrachrome ink on Rosapina, Fabriano paper, 11 45″ x 15 7/10″ and Nest0011,1, mixed media on cardboad 15 7/10″ x 11 4/5″ x 4/5″ 

I chose this artist because I really liked his color pallette and the schemes he chose to use in his work. 

Virecode (Peter D’Auria and Andrea Mancuso): #resist, Noverber 13, 2016, pigmented ink print, starc, plywood, 20″ x 20″ and #sickofwinning, September 11, 2017, pigmented ink print, starch, plywood, 20″ x 20″. 

I tougt tis artist has a fun way of expressing is art in smashing and melting sweets. 

Jeff Koons: Balloon Dog (Yellow), 2015, Porcelain, Bernarudaud, 10 1/2″ x 10 1/2″ x 5″ and Hulk Elvis Monkey Train (Blue), 2007, Offset Lithograph, 55″ x 39″

I chose this artist because I thought his imagery was interesting and I love the pop art designs he uses. 

Damien Hirst: Sudafed PE Sinus, 2014, clear polyurethane resin with ink pigment, 5 1/10″ diameter and Schizophrenogenesis, 2014, resin with LED light unit and ABS, 1 9/10″ x 7 1/10″. 

This artist makes fantastic realisticly giant medications! Hirst’s work is so cool to look at. I know it’s like looking at just a perscription bottle in your cabinet but it’s amazing how he can recreate them and transform them into something so amazing. 

Jana Paleckova: Untitled (Bubble Cildren), 2017, Oil painting on vintage photograph 6 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ and Untitled, 2015, Vintage photograph with oil paint, 5 4/5″ x 3″ 

I found Jana’s artwork really fun to go through. I’m very curious about her process of how she created some of her images with vintage photographs. They look fun and she shows a lot of humor in them. 

Tony Scherman: Nero’s Birthday, 2017, Encaustic on canvas, 28″  24″ and About 1789: Still Life, 2001-2002, encaustic and oil on canvas, 36″ x 36″ 

I chose Tony Scherman for this post because I wanted to make a connction between someone else’s still life’s and mine. His style is a little mmore free flowing and appear darker ten my images are. 

Elsa Zambrano: Tom Wesselmann, 2018, Assemblage, 12 1/5″ x 17 7/10″ x 5 1/10″ and Shoes, ed. of 70, 2014, silkscreen and industrial cloth, 21″ x 32″ x 3″. 

Elsa’s work is very interesting to me because of the different mediums and dimensions she uses. 

Sara Pope: Allure, 2017 Limited edition Giclee printed on 310gsm Portrait, 23 3/5″ x 23 3/5″.  and Riot, 2017 Limited edition Giclee printed on 310gsm Portrait, 23 3/5″ x 23 3/5″.

Sara Pope’s artwork really stood out to me because I love the pictures of the lips, It’s different and pleasing to the eye to me. 

Mr. Brainwash: Chaplin, 2018 silkscreen and mixed media on paper, 33″x22.5″ and  Einstein II, 2018 silkscreen and mixed media on paper, 33″x22.5″.

Mr. Brainwash inspires me because of his colorful use on his political concept. He is able to speak to is audience and get his point across through his work which is what I am trying to accomplish. 

Whisbe: Vandal Gummy Bear, 2016. Arcrylic, 16″x12″ and Vandal Gummy Bear Wall, 2016. Arcrylic and Instalation, 88″x206″. 

Whisbe was a fun artist to reseach because he uses candy in is work like I do but for different representation. He has giant gummy bear paintings and scultures that are so bright and brilliant and it gives me some ideas for up coming opportunities.
