This one is pathetically short, I know, but the next will be longer I prommy lol- this was just to finish up the recap n logic of the universe n all that, so the final part of the prologue will actually have some interaction between characters. Horray! Have this for now

“Everyone, give them a warm welcome, and root for them all!”

“Yeah!! Welcome!! Woohoo!!”

“Soooo, that’s it! Expect the next challenge in three to five days! Now with that all said and done, I’m Step,”

“And I’m Pulse,”

“And this is, the Sc–”

“Mister Step.”

“Huh?” “another text color?”

[The two hosts turn around.]

“Oh. You guys are back.”

“Yes… But hang on… You could talk?”

“We can.”

“But why haven’t you-”

“We just didn’t have anything interesting to say.”

[Another Null abruptly appears behind Step.]

“You wouldn’t like that, wouldn’t you?”

“GAH!!”

[Pulse pushes Step aside, getting inbetween him and the flower.]

“Okay, cut the mysterious bullcrap. There’s definitely a reason you guys decided to speak now. So why?”

[Yet another one appears behind Pulse.]

“We apologize in advance for this, we’re only following protocol.”

“What do you mea–AAGH!”

[Step and Pulse abruptly get whacked in the head with batons. Step’s consciousness instantly goes away, but Pulse remains awake.]

“O-Ow, what the hell are you doing?!”

“We’re hijacking the show.”

“Wh-What do you mean?! And why-?!”

[Before Pulse could finish, a large figure wearing heavy armor drops down behind Pulse and slams his head into the floor. The cube finally goes limp.]

“He’s down.”

[More people begin to emerge from random hidden spots in the white room. Meanwhile, the Nulls begin to drag the two hosts to who knows where.]

“Finally, I was wondering when he’d stop yapping, haha!”

“Remember, stick to the script.”

“Don’t have to tell me twice, Kuro!”

“Yes, Kari. I know.”

“Shut up you two.” “The audience is still watching...”

“O-Oh yeah! They are!" *quiet giggling*

“Hush, everyone.”

[All the newbies who just emerged turn to the new voice. It came from a figure dressed in red, with a triangular head and a king’s crown. He’s clearly the leader of this group.]

“...Coda. I was wondering when you’d show up. Can you introduce us to the crowd?”

“Gladly.”

[The red figure, Coda, steps in front with a sinister glamour. The other figures walk in formation beside the king.]

“Welcome one again, everyone, to the Scuffle of the Shapes. I am your humble gamesmaster for this contest, Coda. The ones behind me are the hosts of the challenges.”

“Now, if you want to know the whereabouts of your precious little hosts, then you must go through all of our challenges first. Starting from the pawns, all the way up to me, the King.”

[Coda snaps his fingers. The fiery figure raises her hands, and doors appear behind each team.]

“Now, please excuse us as we give you three days to prepare for the first challenge. You wouldn’t want to come out hurt now, would you?”

[Coda bows and with a swoosh of his cape, sends each team flying into their door.]

“Now good luck...”

“And most importantly…”

“Welcome one and all…”
