Man, I really regretted looking up Undertale Characters and Undertale Sans analyses on this here site:
Like, there is a reason I avoid doing that more often than not on tumblr (and some other sites), because a lot of the time I just across takes/analyses/etc. that I just really (personally) don’t agree with and/or like.
Even by creators that I can, have, do, and/or did like, and seemingly “well-liked”/”well-accepted” and/or “popular” takes.
Disclaimer: If you like or agree with any these takes or similar ones; that is fine, we all have different opinions. I just tend to not really like these takes.
The takes in question. These are just UT/DR takes and ones I have mainly come across today and fairly recently (some of these takes are actually done by fans of these characters; that doesn’t mean I like or agree with them still though (putting the rest under a “read more” cut, because this gets pretty long, and in case people don’t want to read about these takes):

Once again; saw a Sans take I just didn’t agree with or like (imo, a lot of the points were inaccurate, lacking, took a lot of his character at face value; which makes no sense to do with Sans of all characters, really downplayed Sans in some aspects, which I didn’t like, just didn’t make sense at times imo, and was mostly just based on their own interpretation and analysis; which is fine, but then they act things contrary to what they are saying is a “misconception”, which annoys me. No, it is just their own interpretation and analysis, just yours is).
And once again; it is a fairly “popular” post.
(I actually wrote some stuff in counter to that post in the tags of it; in a draft version of that post. But I don’t know if I will ever post it. I don’t want to start an argument, and I honestly just don’t have the energy for it. But, I might do something else, if not a rb of that post)
Man, I am getting to the point where I want to do some posts about Sans; like I have TMNT Leo, because God, like that character, do people really misunderstand Sans (imo) (have seen some pretty bad posts for Paps and Toriel too as well; to name a couple more UT characters) sometimes too.
