chaos keeps people guessing

The male stifled a small laugh, but he had. He had seen the colors of planets, space and all the views from above. “I’ve seen my fair share of the spectrum to be impressed.” He admitted with a shrug. Despite everything, he still found Earth beautiful. “I’m sorry did you just say narrators? As in the person who reads the unspoken parts of a book or movie?” He asked, his brow raising in confusion, as if the girl licking the back of her hand wasn’t odd enough. “Not compared to mine. I’m from space, originally. Now THAT is black and white with few colors.”

Jasper glanced over at the female that had chimed into his conversation with himself. “Are you so sure on that? I’m seeing a lot of rainbows.” He commented nodding off to some of the painted people walking about the festival. “I’m sorry, Wonderland?” He asked as he turned to face her, and he thought he was stoned. Here was a stranger rambling off about Wonderland and how colorless the world was when he thought it Earth was still lovely despite his hate for it and it’s deadliness.

Jasper wasn’t too sure what this version of Earth had in store for him and every day was something new. Lovefest, now that was new. He could hear the screams from the rides and practically smell the food from his apartment window. Apparently drinking in this version of Earth was reserved for adults, twenty-one and older. Had he not taken his own life, he’d be able to drink in public instead of sitting by the window of his apartment, a bottle of whiskey in hands. He had made a promise to himself to not be the man he was before. To not disappear on his friends especially after making amends with Clarke.

With the final drag of his blunt, he pockets the roach and another blunt as he pushes the chair away from the window, making his way into the galley kitchen to set down the bottle before setting his goggles within his wavy hair. “Welp.” He remarked to himself as he left the building, locking the door behind him as he walked to the festive, feeling a lovely buzz from the hooch and a lovely high from the weed. This was enough to get him out and about to trust that he wasn’t going to be harmed. All the colors and lights attracted his attention instantly as his eyes took in all the lights. “Whoa.” He remarked, a bit too tripped out for much more than small talk. “I am clearly under colored.” He commented to himself as he glanced down at his mostly black, orange and dark green outfit and frowned.
