Of all the things not addressed in ST, one thing I never see get discussed (and I'm sure it has been, I've just never seen it) is that Hopper is the one who gave Brenner El's location in season one in exchange for Will's life, and that the guilt of that is another layer to his overprotectiveness of her later on. I waited for years for someone to find out about that. Joyce must have guessed when he said he made a deal, but then there are no knowing looks or anything. Was that supposed to come up again?

I love that Karen's battle scars were displayed at the graduation ceremony. They would be hard to hide, but I think old Karen Wheeler would have tried to minimise them as much as possible with a higher cut top or having her old, long hair flowing in front to cover them a bit. Not epilogue Karen, though. She's got a new short 'do that gets all the hair from her face and neck, and wears a V-neck for everyone to see
