Today's masterpiece is *drum roll* "Yellow flower" I'm naming it yellow flower since that's my search phrase on google xD I just wanted to try out acrylic painting, so the other day i bought my first acrylic paint tubes and 2 additional brushes from @nbsalert then i had set aside some 10 x 10 cardboard before because they were so cute that i couldn't throw them out, and i thought i might be able to use them in the future....and yeess! Good thing I kept it! It served as the base for my canvas. So last night I made my 1st attempt at making my mini canvas. I used the 10 x 10 cardboard, covered it with canvas cloth (the one you use for making eco bags). Armed with a glue stick and a glue gun, i stuck the cloth behind the cardboard and voila! My mini canvas 😆 All in all, i love how it turned out; since black is always beautiful with yellow :3 and I love the experience. After putting it aside for 3 days due to work and deadlines, at last we were able to see the beautiful art exhibited at iArt fest Manila. From paintings to photographs to printables, and even on the spot sketching!!! #artoverload 😍😍 I wanted to buy some oil paintings but i didn't have the $$$. 😕 Fortunately there were mini arts available so i bought a couple..hohoho Definitely going back on their next exhibit! I was already done mixing my pandesal ingredients. The next step was to knead it. But then i thought the dough was so sticky and it wasn't smooth enough. So i added more flour until i was satisfied with how it looked and felt. But lo and behold, the end result wasn't what I expected....there was no pandesal!! 😆😂 😆😂 Though it didn't become pandesal in the end, I was still glad the result was still bread =)))) it was edible!!! The topic that @glessymarie gave me for our art topic exchange was playfulness. At first i wanted to draw stars coz they look playful to me. Then i also thought of drawing the ocean and the fishes coz i think they can also replresent playfulness.
